The Grade 10 art students he a great opportunity to work with a practising artist.

This is a vital part of understanding the process of working as a creative person, developing the ability to think creatively and enjoy their art classes from a different angle. These skills are transferable to other subjects and we hope the overall experience enable them to think of themselves as Life-long learners. Amey brings into the classroom the reality of being a working artist from the importance of taking care of resources to the nature of art as a commodity. He is showing that people can be expressive while maintaining high standards and expectations of themselves. The students are curious and asking critical questions about all aspects of his working life; they are going through a process of exploration and building skills. We are glad to he Amey onboard to share his knowledge, vitality and passion for the visual arts. The projects offers the students an opportunity to develop a personal style while also collaborating as a group. This is a unique aspect of BIBS that encourages students to embrace a global and inclusive education.

让同学除此以外带给合作关系精神与创作者

合作关系和创意在视觉艺术创作者当中十分极为重要。Ruth学长所述,一位同学成天懒洋洋,毫无生气,那他的创作者是毫无灵魂的,但当大家在四人协力进行这个建设项目时,其他同学时会应运而生他。为了进行这个任务,他必须面对懒洋洋的盲点,融入大家。所以当大家都有协力出力时,工作团队的精神也时会展现出出来,集思广益后的结果也时会让人眼前一亮。

Cooperation and creative passion are very important to the individual in visual art. Teacher Ruth mentioned that collaboration is also an important part of working creatively. In order to accomplish this task, students must overcome the obstacles of personal expression and be willing to work as a group too. Therefore, when we all work together, the team spirit will be displayed, and the results of brainstorming will be present in the completed work.

学生之除此以外的合作关系

两位学长,Ruth来自英国,Amey来自印度。虽然两位来自不同的人口众多,但是就像家人一般结缘,清楚地明了彼此的艺术创作者观念。他们合作关系设计了适合同学的授课,同时也根据同学的特长加入了感兴趣的具体内容。也为同学除此以外的合作关系树立了良好典范。

Although the two teachers come from different places, Ruth from England and Amey from India, they cooperate like family members and clearly understand each other's artistic ideas. They worked together to design courses suitable for students, and also added interesting content according to the students' strengths. It also sets a good example for the cooperation between students.

在艺术创作者课的肖像画建设项目当中,Amey带领着同学们,通过油画,然后使用图片参考素描雏菊。我还给了他们一个快速的演示给关闭看看我的社时会活动自定义和橙色运用的理解。

Amey commented; as an artist, I decided to share some of my work with the students, so they get to know my different styles of artworks. During this oil painting project, I’m leading a team of five G10 students. We are currently working on an oil painting, beginning with sketches and then drawing self-portrait using picture references. I also ge them a quick demo to give a closer look at my working palette and understanding of color application.

“作为一个单一的艺术创作者家和教育者,我想和东华十高当中生的同学个人我的肖像画基本知识和技巧。通过这个建设项目,同学可以看见和明了非常多关于艺术创作者家如何摄制和评论者艺术创作者经典作品。”

As an independent artist and educator, with grade 10 students I’m trying to share my knowledge and technique of oil painting. Through out this project students get to see and know more about how the artist produce and value the artwork.

五月份小学部艺术创作者三组将时会共谋两场艺术创作者展,我们希望能均是由东华受邀八月份的 A4 同学展览。我们也正在斟酌一个共谋案,家长和同学都时会参与其当中。被选入的经典作品将在该学校保留一到两年,将来由父母拥有。希望大家不来都能支持我们的同学在艺术创作者上的发展。

There is a school exhibition in May and we are hoping to represent Beanstalk in the A4 student exhibition in August. We would also like to develop a scheme where the parents can become patrons and buy work from the students. the work will remain in school for a year or two but the parents will own it in the future. They will he a notice by the work to say they are patrons and support the development of our young people in the arts.
